Final Fantasy XIV is a big match. Maps are split from loading zones, so Eorzea doesn't feel quite as receptive as, say, Azeroth, but there's a whole lot to do Buy FF14 Gil. There are 60 dungeons and nearly 50 trials, also, due to this sport system, these all get run nearly daily.

And that is only PvE. I've played this game for thousands of hours -- and there's still things I haven't done or seen. I have no crafters at maximum level, there's still a couple of trials I have not got around to unlocking, and Eureka is still something of a puzzle to me... So yeah. FFXIV is big.

It helps that patches are big, too. Long, encyclopediac patch notes little to hide how much gets added to the game every couple of months; now, after reducing the amount of dungeons added every odd-numbered patch, it takes me days simply to get to grips with everything that has been inserted whenever the game is upgraded.

However, with each patch, it seems like something promising is added that just doesn't land. People who play Lord Verminion might as well be unicorns, because I have never seen you. That's not because those items aren't lovingly crafted or without merit -- nor can it be because there's no desire for unwanted content.

For example, during a previous live letter, I've seen Twitch chat totally clamouring for Blitzball, the aquatic soccer(?) Game from FFX. But in March, manufacturer Naoki Yoshida stated in an interview with Mogtalk that he was concerned people may burn it quickly if it had been faithful to the original:"I'm sure there are lots of people who desire this, however I can not shake my issue that people would get tired of the after playing it just once."

As much as I want to view Blitzball, Yoshi-P is not wrong to believe that this could be its destiny, since it's not like there's no precedent. The latest piece of content with a short lifespan was Rival Wings, the magical moba-style PVP style. It was received on discharge, not least because it was something quite different, but, at least Chaos, the EU information centre, ffxiv wiki classes is unbelievably tough to queue into today because there just aren't enough people playing it to fill matches.
