CSX Chicago Line(Water Level Route)--160.800
NS Jersey Line (Buffalo to Syracuse section)--160.860
CSX is fairly busy in the morning, but tapers off into the afternoon (4:00-5:00 PM EST). A couple run in the evening. This includes 10 Amtrak trains.
NS is DEAD during the day, picks up after dinner time (6:00ish EST) and runs steady through the night at about 1 train per hour. At 3:00 AM, there are 6 on top of each other, usually all blow through by 4:30. After that, it gets fairly quiet. NO Amtrak. Potential Canadian run-through power.
On Sundays, both lines are completely dead besides 6 Amtrak trains and few locals.
Just some suggestions, it can get very interesting at times. |
