I think this is a good idea as well. I think we all have a basic idea of what our loot rules are or at least should be, but having a central place to refer to would be great for new and future members who might not be aware. =D
Basic idea:
Roll on Bind on Equip items "BOE"
Roll Greed for standard treasure (sell, DE etc.)
Roll Need for items that are equipment improvements
Roll on Bind on Pick Up items "BOP"
First chance goes to character running through the instance that is currently of the appropriate class and talent specialization for that item (for instance a Holy Spec Priest would get first dibs on a cloth Healing Item over a Shadow Spec Priest in the current run)
If there is more than one individual that is of the appropriate class and spec then those characters roll, and highest roll wins the item.
If there is no one of that class or spec that needs or wants the item then others can roll on the item for alternate sets.
I like the rule that if you win a purple item in the run you pass on any future items in the run. If no one else wants to take it that hasn't already received a purple item then you may roll for it. This is not something that I think any of us have discussed, but I think this is a wonderful idea since it allows for everyone to get something out of instance if the drops fall even if they have bad luck with the dice. This will be helpful since we'll have multiple people of the same class and spec running with us.
All in all I think it should be noted to use common sense and courtesy. None of us are ninja looters (although some of us may claim to lead a secret double life of the ninja) and we're all friends here. So as long as we keep that in mind we'll all have fun and get phat lootz!!!
Is there anything else people want to address?

I thnk that we should probably set up some basic loot rules to avoid any hurt feelings or arguments. I know were all friends here, and I think that is why it should be more important to us. The last thing we need is someone getting erked cause they can't get X purple for for them selves cause someone wants it for the off chance that they might go a different direction in the future.
Sorry for teh Kill joy =D
