I'm finishing up the Chandler Coal route and now it is time to begin work on a different route.
While work has begun on Coastal Corridor and Commuter Corridor, I wanted to work on and finish a new route known as Coastal Commuter.
Coastal Commuter is a 100 mile route that runs freight and passenger service. With 26 stations and 14 freight depots. There are three container stations-One is a shipping yard, one is a truck hauling facility, and one is a shipping yard with a maintenance facility.
Most of the route is a mile or two from the coast line, but there are a few points where the track runs right along with the beaches.
There is plenty of single lines and there are plenty of sidings.
So I will keep everyone up to date on the progress of the route, but much of it will be kept secret.
I will give a clue about the first five miles though.
When you leave the first station, you will be street running and then you will cross a river and go through a yard with the large shipping yard.
So stay tuned.
