What aspects of the beta do you like or dislike? What are your thoughts about the overall experience? This combat update is not one I would recommend for RuneScape Gold a variety of reasons. It makes dungeoneering slower. It takes enemies longer to kill, and it's usually necessary to fight non-gd creatures to keep your adrenaline levels from falling.
It also appears that the party now needs several combat styles, which can make it difficult to get teams together (Even currently, I'm spending more time trying to get groups of dg together than I spend in the actual floor; but having the need for multiple combat styles will make it so much worse). Armour appears to be almost an expectation since prayers do not block anything and have been nerfed.
Another reason I don't like prayer's effectiveness being diminished in pvm is because they are decreasing its efficacy. While I would not mind that in pvp, they have lowered the effectiveness of prayer in pvm. All prayer-boosting gear has been taken away. This means it is more expensive to use turmoil and soul splitting, and slows down the slayer when they are not in use.
Thirdly, I'm not a fan of some of the choices they made with regard to the armour and weapon systems. Shields are removed of all offensive stats, and I'm not sure what the defense system is. All offensive statistics are removed from the boots and gloves.
The offensive boosts are in the form of relative boosts rather than absolute (i.e. +2 instead of like +8) and it appears that the only offensive thing that can be boosted is critical hit chance. This is a major issue for weapons that are weaker, like rapier, for example, as they are much more efficient. Rapier, which is a slower weapon than rapier, has its speed lowered to Cheap OSRS Gold allow it to be a CLS using stab and not slash.
