The NFL and NFLPA will likely find a way to Madden 21 coins goose up the salary cap a few. Whether or not it reaches the stratosphere of $190M-$195M -- that the most optimistic of agents are awaiting -- remains to be seen, however I'd be amazed if it does not at least sit around $185M.

The idea of it hitting the potential flooring of $175M seems remote at best based on what I am hearing, but I would still caution against people projecting the standard feeding frenzy at the onset of the league season that we've become accustomed to. I continue to view ample signals that owners, stung by the pandemic and the inability to meet their revenue goals in 2020 and in 2021 as well, will be prepared to hold the lineup more on paying and take aim at the NFL's middle course, and it could lead to an offseason that closely resembles the drip-by-drip nature of baseball offseason, rather than the standard pace of a typical hot stove season.

Even with long-term television contracts on the horizon, if an owner was likely to wish to bargain store in 2021 and string out the market, there are considerable reasons (excuses?) for doing do. Uncertainty about the level of fans in the stands in 2021, after using almost none in 2020, and having a cap stagnant at best and with all the final details of the cap probably not being finalized until shortly before free service starts next year creates a potential climate for owners to sit back and waitrather than rushing in with both handsthrowing contracts to fulfill as many roster holes as possible a month from now.

A year ago, just half the teams in the NFL actually spent up to the salary cap; is there reason, under these circumstances, to endeavor even that amount repeating, let alone a spike? Do we not believe there would be financial motivation to attempt and bide one's time in the hopes that a whole category of players that might normally earn $3M-$5M can be had for close to $1M? There will be a rash of gamers stuck awaiting the very best one-year, prove-it deal they could muster, I would contend, and a few might start grabbing the small bird in hand earlier rather than later. The group of teams that seem to be clear spenders is not all that long. The Eagles and Saints have fueled that fire in recent years, but both are dealing with significant cap difficulties and won't be able to push the market anything close to mut 21 coins xbox one what we've seen in the past.
