However, OSRS gold got better and by the 3rd month I was back up to full pace, possibly even more efficient than working in the office since there was no annoying meetings and beurocracy taking time up. So after 3 months of working at home, there is one update almost ready. There is still something incorrect. Some people will have it worse than others due to family etc. However, this stage should technical issues sorted out. Jagex should be supplying the essential equipment to workers to do their job if this really can be a long-term thing. When it comes to working from your home, the games and technology industry should be one of the best suited sectors.

Adapting the approach into the reduced capacity sounds similar to this daily update item is temporary until you are able to operate from the office again? Or can it be a thing to handle workload? Which are"present plans"? It might have been nice to know that these before the plans were shelved. Are these openings a 3/6/12 month gaps between large update/expansions? And by changing plans does this mean doing large updates/expansions?

Honestly, I am fine with this if it did seem a little PR'y because they really are throwing themselves to be honest. A team actively look to react and find opportunity in a situation that affects production output is quite rare in my experience. It might have been easier from a development standpoint to stay the course and just accept the slower delivery cadence - and many teams would choose that option and toss the COVID excuse.

Talking to it, pivoting direction is no small task. There is a huge knock in so many areas - brainstorms upon brainstorms, scoping, reformatting teams, working out the way to make significant content on smaller timeframes and so forth. That takes effort, time and a great deal of coordination - then you have to go execute on it. But, ultimately, the hope is that this is the right way to go to deliver material and prevent big gaps.

However on the WFH front, your situation is precisely the same for others here at Jagex too, but maybe not for most (particularly those with children or less than perfect work environments). We have inner Wellness polls that people respond to along with Production Estimates which have shown the gradual OSRS GP decrease in productivity - final quote was over 30 percent down. I could safely say I not functioning and emotionally taxed at my best in those conditions. It's a challenging situation for all.
